Treatment and Procedure

Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) with Thulium Fiber Laser (TFL) and Digital Intracorporeal Single-use Scope (DISS) RIRS is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat kidney stones. Utilizing advanced technology like the Thulium Fiber Laser (TFL) and Digital Intracorporeal Single-use Scope (DISS), this technique allows for precise and efficient stone fragmentation. Here, The patient is given general anesthesia. A ureteral access sheath is inserted to allow the entry of the scope into the kidney. The DISS, a high-definition, single-use digital scope, is inserted through the ureter and into the kidney to locate the stones. The TFL is used to fragment the kidney stones into smaller pieces. The fragmented stones are either removed using a basket or left to pass naturally through the urine. A double-J (DJ) stent is placed to ensure the ureter remains open and to facilitate the passage of any remaining stone fragments, reducing the risk of post-operative complications. Minimally invasive technique is used with faster recovery and reduced risk of complications.

URS is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat stones located in the ureter. It involves the use of a ureteroscope to visualize and remove or fragment the stone. The patient receives general or spinal anesthesia. A ureteroscope is inserted through the urethra and bladder into the ureter. The stone is either removed with a basket or fragmented using a laser. A double-T (DT) stent is placed to keep the ureter open, allowing for the passage of stone fragments and preventing obstruction.

Cystoscopy is a diagnostic procedure that allows for the direct visualization of the bladder and urethra using a cystoscope. Local, regional, or general anesthesia may be used. The cystoscope is inserted through the urethra into the bladder and examined for any abnormalities such as tumors, stones, or inflammation.

Laser prostatectomy is a minimally invasive procedure used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). It involves the use of a laser to remove prostate tissue. General or spinal anesthesia is given to the patient. A laser fiber is inserted through a scope into the urethra and directed at the prostate. The laser is used to remove excess prostate tissue, relieving urinary Obstruction.

Cystolithotripsy is a procedure used to treat bladder stones. It involves the fragmentation of stones using various methods, often including laser or ultrasonic waves. General or spinal anesthesia is given. A cystoscope is inserted through the urethra into the bladder. Stones are fragmented using a laser or ultrasonic waves. The fragments are removed through the cystoscope or left to pass naturally through urine.

TURBT is a surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat bladder tumours. General or spinal anesthesia is used. A resectoscope is inserted through the urethra into the bladder. The tumor is resected using an electric loop or lasers. Tissue samples are collected for pathological examination. It is a very effective method using minimal invasive technique.
