Treatment and Procedure

An abdomen and pelvis scan, are done using Computed Tomography (CT) that provides detailed images of the abdominal and pelvic regions. This imaging technique helps in diagnosing a variety of conditions, including infections, tumors, and vascular diseases. It detects causes of abdominal pain. This method also helps in diagnosing cancers of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, and other organs. The patient may be asked to fast for a few hours prior to the scan. The patient lies on a table that goes into the CT scanner. The scan is quick and painless, typically lasting 10-30 minutes.

An organ scan involves imaging specific organs to assess their structure and function. This can include scans of the liver, kidneys, pancreas, spleen, and more. It helps in identifying abnormalities like cysts, tumors, or stones.

A CT head scan is a detailed imaging test used to examine the brain, skull, and surrounding tissues. It is important for diagnosing head injuries, strokes, tumors, and other neurological conditions and evaluating symptoms like headaches, dizziness, or seizures.

A CT abdomen scan provides detailed images of the abdominal organs, helping in diagnosing conditions like appendicitis, bowel obstruction, and abdominal tumours. It also helps in evaluating liver, pancreas, spleen, and kidney conditions.

An elbow X-ray captures images of the bones and surrounding tissues in the elbow joint, aiding in diagnosing fractures, dislocations, and other conditions. The X-ray takes a few minutes and is painless. Our radiology department collaborately works with the other departments and effectively diagnose the disease conditions using our facilities like

A mammogram is an X-ray imaging test specifically for the breast, used for early detection of breast cancer and other breast abnormalities.

Ultrasound, or sonography, uses high-frequency sound waves to create images of organs and structures inside the body. It is commonly used for imaging the abdomen, pelvis, and developing fetuses.

An X-ray is a quick and painless imaging test that uses electromagnetic waves to create pictures of the inside of the body, used to examine bones and certain tissues.
